I was so excited for this wedding. First because this couple is one of my favorites. They are seriously like Ken and Barbie...in a perfectly gorgeous, nicest people you've ever met kind of way. And being with them and their family was so great. They had so many people there who were so incredibly excited about their wedding. Like a lot of people, by far the biggest group I think ever seen. It was great! The more the merrier in my opinion. And secondly, I majorly love Manti. Its where I got married. Its so gorgeous and classic, and of course gives me all these lovey dovey feelings and memories from my own wedding. And this day, their lovey dovey day, was totally perfect. Which was kind of a miracle because there were all these little things had the potential of going terribly wrong, but now, looking back, I don't even know if they knew. Like the bride before them's photographer was late, which put us beind, the weather was supposed to be terrible that day which I am sure stressed their mothers out, but not them. In fact I don't even think they noticed. They were just so in love and so enjoying their moment....which is the way it should be. Everything ended up perfect, a gorgeously cloudy sky with the sun slightly beaming through, but no rain drops and every little detail was beautiful, and these two savored what was really important. Their love and their day...and you can see more by clicking here.
Yes, this is Dallin H. Oaks...and it was totally awesome that he was there...

I loved this wedding...it was so beautiful, sophisticated and classic. She is obviously gorgeous and of course looked amazing. Just so timelessly perfect. And he is a great guy, like a really great guy. Which is so wonderful...they are just perfect together. It was so fun to be with them all day. I loved watching them together, holding hands, smiling across the room, whispering to each other, just so in love. There is something so completely amazing about breathtaking about watching two people in love. Its like the whole world is perfect in that moment...and nothing else and no one else matters except for this day, this moment, their love. Ahhhh...I'm so mushy...but I love love! These two are some of the cutest sweetest people I have ever met. It was so fun to be around them and their family and friends. Everyone just loves them so much. And everyone went on and on about how wonderful and caring this bride is. That she is just one of the most wonderful people in the world. And I totally believe it. She has been so sweet to me and I loved spending time with her. And they were so cute and in love all day...To see moments from their whole day click here.

So I am so behind on weddings, like ridiculously behind. With a sick husband, then a crashed computer, and bad luck after bad luck after bad luck (and I'm serious...we have had our share of bad luck around here this year) my poor brides have been waiting so long for their wedding photos. Luckily, I have had the MOST AMAZING brides this year. They have been so wonderfully understanding and patient. I can't even explain how much I appreciate their patience. They are wonderful! But I am FINALLY done!!!! Yay! And I am sure there are so many people wanting to see the weddings coming up...and I am so glad to finally post them! And I am SO excited for 2011...I have been thinking, and researching, and practicing, and learning new ways and I have a super exciting announcement (coming soon) that is going to make my weddings be AMAZING!!! and for me be able to get them done SO much sooner! So stay tuned!!!
This wedding was a super fun one! These two are such a fun bubbly couple and are just so fun to be around. We met super early to get all their pictures done and they were great about it. And the lighting and colors were just great that day. Gotta love that! To see more click here.

Pretty sure this shot right here is going to make it into my TOP TEN for 2010! I am so in love with it...though I am not sure this little ladies momma would feel the same. Sister was not really feeling family photos and I was able to get some great candid shots because of it. This is why I love kids so much. They are so unpredictible! They don't care about our expectations or "perfect" shots. They just do their thing. But to me...that is when the magic happens. Because really life isn't perfect, kids are perfect, and that imperfection is that makes them amazing. For me, this is totally the shot that would end up in the collage on the wall. This is a moment, a small slice of time, captured. And for me this is so much better than any perfectly posed headshot. And as a completely amazing added bonus...this will be an awesome shot to put in her wedding video as blackmail someday...gotta love it! And she did leave us with a few other "perfect" shots...To see all of them click here.

I was so excited for this session and have been waiting for it for awhile. This mom is a super fun chick and is so fun to hang out with I knew it would be a good time! And aren't her kids super cute! Mr. Two Year Old had slightly alternative plans to taking photos that morning, but that is always an ideal plan for me. When things don't go as planned is when the best stuff happens. And he did not disappoint. He totally rocked this shoot and let his super cute personality shine through. I was pretty excited too for the fact that they are all also super cute. Don't you love that the boys go their momma's gorgeous smile! Just perfect! Check out the rest of the session by clicking here.

One of the best things about a snowy session is that the white everywhere makes for a great reflector...the not so great part is when you have freezing subjects who can barely move, or a photographer with frozen fingers she can barely man the camera! Luckily though, these kiddos were super tough and did a great job despite frozen toes. And it was so worth it. I am loving how everything turned out. Click here to see more.

I've talked about cold sessions a lot lately, can you tell I am not a huge fan of the cold? I actually secretly wished I had an unknown super rich relative who would leave me a giant inheritance that I could use to buy a house in Arizona that I could live in half the year...So ya, not a huge fan of cold. But I think without a doubt this session earns the prize for coldest session of the year. It was SO cold and so bitter! But this family were rockstars! They just kept smiling and smiling! And I am so exctited with how it turned out. The kids were great! Check them out by clicking here.

I was so excited when this cute little family pulled up. Don't you just love their outfits? These bold bright colors just look so great...way to go mom! All the color and texture just looks great. And it doesn't hurt that the kids are all super cute! Totally blondie girls and a very handsome brother! They are all such a fun bunch and mom always has some fun props that she hauls along to the shoot, which I love! And I am so excited how this shoot turned out. To see more click here.
